Biography
Thomas Xavier is a Milwaukee-based DJ, producer and label owner known for heavy, groove-driven bass house, G house and tech house. As founder of Pharaoh Phonix Records, he has built one of the Midwest's most consistent independent house imprints, releasing more than 100 catalog numbers since launch. His own productions have passed 5 million streams on Spotify, with more than 26,000 monthly listeners.
His catalog includes fan favorites such as "T-Rex," "Spiritual Gangsta," "Money in the Bank" and "Smoke Up the Blem," along with recent releases such as "Drop Real Low," "I'm the Plug," "Feel Like I Can Fly" and "Jet Fuel." His music has also come out on Liftoff Recordings (Disco Fries), House Of Hustle, G-Mafia Records, I AM Records and Uttermost, and his 2023 LP "Pharaoh's Alchemist" brought together collaborators from across the scene.
A fixture at Milwaukee's Miramar Theatre and Madison's Liquid, Thomas has shared the stage with Dom Dolla, Tchami, Malaa, The Glitch Mob, Dr. Fresch, Habstrakt, Feed Me, Lost Kings, Taiki Nulight, Kream and Bijou, and he has played GRIDLIFE Summer Apex at Road America. He is also a regular on the "House of House" series, and his high-energy sets mix his own records with the heaviest grooves in house music.
"The electric marriage of bass-house, G-house, and tech-house culminates in a powerhouse production that would perform well in any peak time set but, perhaps most importantly, underscores Xavier's growth as a producer since he burst onto the dance/electronic scene in 2021."
Dancing Astronaut, April 2022
